• Aberfoyle lies 28 mile the north-west of Glasgow and 20 miles west of Stirling and within an hour of Edinburgh. This small but important village lies in one of Europe's most beautiful locations at the southern edge of the West Highland Fault, with Loch Ard, Loch Chon, Loch Arklet and Loch Lomond all lying to the West, Loch Katrine, Loch Achray and Loch Venacher to the North and the Lake of Menteith, Scotland's only "lake" lying to the East. The village is without doubt the most important gateway to the Trossachs and has something for everyone.
• The village has become quite famous for its festivals. Recently there have been two per year. The Spring festival is T4 Great Outdoor Festival (T4 being Tramping Through The Trossachs). The Autumn food festival is the now famous Mushroom Festival, an extravaganza of food dishes and entertainment.
• In addition to seasonal events the village offers a range of shops and restaurants, and an 18 hole golf course.
• Boating, fishing and mountain biking are all available locally.

Trossachs Gate provides 3 generously sized bedrooms, a lounge with views of the village and surrounding countryside, a superb kitchen and dining area for entertaining, lounge with utility area for laundry and adequate ground floor space for securely storing bikes and tackle. A sofa bed in the third bedroom allows for up to eight to be accommodated in comfort.

The property is let Saturday-to-Saturday but short breaks are also offered. The property has only been offered to let in early 2008 so there is considerable availability for the 2008 season.
