Our five cottages nestle in 8 acres of garden and woodland in an idyllic stream-side location. Originally part of the bustling Herodsfoot silver and lead mine dating back to the 17th century and more recently farm buildings, each stone cottage has its own character and features. All are prepared to the same high standard.
We offer our guests peace and tranquillity yet all the attractions of Cornwall are within easy reach; we are just six miles from the fishing villages of Polperro and Looe, and a similar distance from spectacular Bodmin Moor. There is excellent walking straight from your door.
The lawns surrounding the cottages are perfect for enjoying the sunshine. Or take our river walk which follows the course of the old mine leat surrounded by oaks, silver birch, hawthorn and woodland flowers. Our tariff includes all towels, bed linen, heating and colour TV. Cots and high chairs are provided free of charge. We offer short breaks and a special off-peak tariff.
