The Treehouse is a beautiful studio style self-catering apartment furnished to a very high standard. It is located next to the village of Philpstoun on the Union Canal, 3 miles from Linlithgow. An ideal haven for walkers and cyclists or for a lazy 'get away from it all' holiday. Edinburgh (11 miles), Glasgow (30 miles), and Stirling (21 miles) are within 35 minutes drive. The property is surrounded by rolling countryside with superb views.

Accommodation  
  • Separate kitchen area with an electric hob, built in oven, fridge and microwave.
  • The shower room is fully tiled with an electric shower.
  • The sitting room/bedroom is light and airy with ample space for both sleeping accommodation and lounge area. There is a TV, dvd player, stereo, sofa, a small dining table and a double bed.
  • Outside there is a decking area which over looks the garden and surrounding countryside.

  • Meals provided by arrangement.
  • Heating, electricity, linen and towels included in price.

Things to do
There are loads of visitor attractions with in easy access of the apartment:  

  • The Park Bistro (1 mile): Located on the banks of the Union Canal the bistro provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, which can be enjoyed when with friends and family or alternately for evening candlelit dining.
  • The Canal Pathway (500yards): Runs alongside the Union Canal to Edinburgh or the Falkirk Wheel. A fantastic pathway for walkers, runners and cyclists.
  • Linlithgow Canal Centre: You can cruise the calm and peaceful canal to the Avon Aqueduct in comfort on board the "St Magdalene" or journey the town stretch on "Victoria", a replica of a Victorian steam packet boat.
  • The Falkirk Wheel: The worlds first rotating boatlift, 115ft high. A visitors centre has been created with a shop, cafe and display area.
  • Linlithgow Palace, Bo'ness and Kinneil Steam Railway, Kingsfield Golf Range, Linlithgow Leisure Centre, Blackness Castle.
