This is a terrific base to explore the gently undulating Llyn Peninsula with its rocky headlands and sandy coves, the dramatic mountains of Snowdonia and the small harbour towns of Pwllheli, Cricceth, Porthmadoc, and the beautiful Porthmerion. To the north is Anglesey and Edward the II's walled towns of Caernarfon, Beaumaris and Conway.
