This beautifully converted farm building is full of character and charm, lovingly restored by local craftsmen with beams and curvy stone walls throughout. An idyllic setting in the foothills of the Preseli mountains in Pembrokeshire National Park.
Accommodation Downstairs is an open plan kitchen-diner-living room with oak flooring... The kitchen has an oil fired rayburn, gas hob and electric oven and fitted kitchen with fridge and washing machine... there is a pine dining area and the livingroom has two settees and a wood burning stove... It has a double bedroom with a feature Oval window overlooking the moor, a twin bedded galleried bedroom and a single sleeping loft. Outside there is a small pond to the front (mostly fenced) and table chairs and bench. The is direct access to the moor and mountains through a small gate in the garden. Pottery tuition is available at the pottery on site.
The Cowshed is one of 5 cottages at Trallwyn all ranging in size from the tiny studio Trallwyn Bach which sleeps 2 (price £100-£290pw) to the 300 year old Farmhouse which sleeps 6-8 (price £260-£660pw) In total all the cottages sleep a maximum of 25 people so are suitable for large groups and family gatherings.
