 Tower Cottage is a delightful one bedroom stone cottage situated in the grounds of a large country house. Visitors are free to use the extensive gardens and woodland, and to visit the fourteenth century pele tower in the grounds. Sharp eyed visitors may catch a glimpse of the red squirrels in the woods nearby, and there is a great range of bird life.

The cottage is four miles from the seaside, with Beadnell, Seahouses, Newton-by-the-Sea and Craster all within a few miles. The coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while inland, the Cheviot Hills offer wonderful walking country. The busy market town of Alnwick, famous for its garden and 'Hogwarts' castle, is eight miles away.
 Accommodation
On the ground floor: Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with toilet, hand basin, and shower. Sitting / dining room. A spacious, comfortable room with sofa and armchair, open fire, colour television, dining table and chairs. On the first floor: - A large light bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
 - A cot is available if required.
Facilities: - Heating is by night store heaters, electric heaters and the open fire. Fuel is included in the rental.
- Bedding is provided, and a cover for the duvets, but please bring your own sheets and towels.
- There is space for car parking immediately outside the cottage.
- A hard surface tennis court is available for visitors to use.
