Torgorm Cottage is located in Carbost, a crofting community close to the majestic Cuillin Hills. Overlooking beautiful Loch Harport (photos below), there are several beaches close by including Glenbrittle and Talisker. The Old Inn and Talisker Distillery are about a 10 minute walk away.

Accommodation  
  • High standard accommodation for up to six, the bungalow offers electric panel heating and double glazing.
  • Fully fitted kitchen (washer/drier, fridge, electric and microwave cookers) plus breakfast bar.
  • Lounge with french doors opening onto a wooden decking area providing stunning views. Wood flooring, leather suite, TV, DVD player, CD system, reading materials, maps and guides.
  • Fully fitted bathroom with a white modern suite including bath and electric shower.
  • All bedding and linen provided.

The Isle of Skye
Skye has a rich history, wild storms, soft colours and fine light. It has strong traditions and a thriving Gaelic culture. Skye offers adventure amongst its mountains, moors and dramatic waterfalls. The wild landscape of Skye provides many wonderful opportunities for a wide range of activities including:  

  • Hillwalking - Skye has over 30 peaks including 11 Munros.
  • Cycling and pony trekking.
  • Watersports with centres at Kilmuir and Raasay which offer windsurfing, kayaking and sailing.
  • Fishing - Skye offers good loch fishing for brown trout, with some sea trout and salmon fishing on its various rivers.
  • Golf - Skye has courses at Sconser and Skeabost.
  • The environment and wildlife - Skye offers diverse flora and fauna including rich woodlands, habitat for birds and mammals such as roe deer, foxes and weasels. You might see red deer, birds of prey and even sea eagles, porpoises, dolphins or whales.
  • Arts & crafts - There are many galleries and craft shops on Skye ranging from traditional spinning, knitting and weaving to sculpture, pottery and jewellery making.
