Traditional 19th century thatched cottage located between the villages of Bohola and Ballyvary in County Mayo.
 
Accommodation This cottage sleeps seven people with 3 beautiful bedrooms. The cottage has a converted granary two-storey extension, the whole complex recently restored while retaining its original charm, as kitchen/living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and utility room. The grounds are glorious and there is amble space for children to play. Location - The thatched cottage is located in the heart of the best fresh water fishing in Ireland with access to Mayo's most famous fishing river, The Moy, just 6 miles away. At nearby Pontoon, there are two lakes, Lough Conn and Lough Cullen. These are renowned trout and salmon-fishing lakes, with early Mayfly hatches especially on Lough Cullen. Lough Conn gets an early run of spring fish (early salmon) and in June and July, a large run of grilse fish (3-8lb salmon).
- Castlebar town is located 14kms west of the cottage where amenities include an 18 hole golf course, pitch and putt, walks by Lough Lannagh, shopping, County Library, restaurants, cinema complex, bowling, go-karting, swimming pool, night clubs, children's playground, 2 theatres, an arts centre with exhibition galleries.
- Nearby in Turlough is the National Museum of Country Life, 8kms.
