Location
The sweeping golden sands of Ashaig beach are only 10 minutes walk away. It is here that St. Maelrubha (a disciple of Columba) landed when he brought Christianity to Skye.
Tigh Eachainn is on a croft tenanted by the same family for 150 years. With artists and musicians in the family, the walls throughout are hung with original artwork.
In the hallway you will find the framed sheet music for "Tigh Eachainn" written by a visiting flautist, and a folder of information on all the family's favourite places to visit on Skye including some great music sessions which you won't find advertised elsewhere.
