Alan and Sarah Townsend would like to offer you a warm welcome and pleasant stay at either of their four star cottages. The barn now also boasts an M1and M2 grading from Visit England/Quality in Tourism. (M1 being typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (M2 being typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time and can negotiate a maximum of three steps).

Both barn conversions are set in the grounds of Tidmoor Farmhouse on the edge of Chickerell Weymouth Dorset, and within walking distance of the Jurassic coast.
There are many lovely coastal footpaths alongside the fleet lagoon; we are just three miles from the popular seaside resort of Weymouth with its many attractions fantastic beach and picturesque harbour.
The Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy which is to host the 2012 Olympics is only four miles away taking around seven minutes by car.
The cottages are a excellent touring base with many fabulous places all a short drive away, Weymouth, Portland, Abbotsbury, West Bay, Lyme Regis Lulworth, Durdle Door, Swanage are just a few.

The Stables

The large open plan lounge/dining area/kitchen is extremely spacious and includes digital tv/video. radio/cd player. Dining table comfortably seats six people.
The fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Ground floor twin bedroom and bathroom.
First floor master bedroom with en suite.

The Barn

Open plan kitchen/dinner/lounge.
Ground floor wet room with shower seat and handrails.
Second lounge on the first floor with fantastic views towards the fleet.
Double bedroom with en suite incl large corner bath.

Facilities

The cottages are gas central heated which is included in the rent.
Fully furnished to a high standard.
Linen included (towels can be provided for a small charge.
Good accessibility for disabled guest.
Secure parking.
Local post office/shop, pubs and village restaurants all within walking distance.
