Ticker's cottage, built in traditional Norfolk flint, is in the heart of the picturesque village of Cley, almost at the foot of its famous windmill. It backs on to the river Glaven and the coastal marshes, with long views from upstairs windows. It is ideally situated for exploring beautiful North Norfolk and its unspoilt coastline of marshes, beaches and pretty villages.
 From short breaks in the winter to family holidays in the summer, Ticker's caters for holidays all year round. It is delightfully decorated and well equipped to give you the most attractive and comfortable base for your holiday that you could ever wish for.
On your arrival at the cottage you can begin your holiday from the first minute of your stay - for you will find the beds made up, the fire laid, the heating on if appropriate and a welcome tea tray, including a pint of milk. And it is genuinely warm with its gas central heating and a woodburning stove for extra cosiness. Birdwatchers will be in heaven here as the world famous Cley bird reserves are only a short walk along the coastal path. There are good food shops and places to eat within a few yards of the cottage. The charming Georgian market town of Holt (4 miles away) offers more extensive shopping. No one ever has enough time to visit everything they want to, so they keep coming back!
