Our house is in Thorpeness, a delightful Edwardian planned holiday village, just north of Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast. Its light and spacious accommodation is ideal for families. Accommodation
The house sleeps 8 comfortably with the possibility of another 2 sleeping in a separate room downstairs.
The living room runs the width of the front of the house and opens directly into a large secure front garden that overlooks the Meare.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, one double with en-suite, 2 twins and one set of sturdy bunk beds.
Another bathroom and shower.
Duvets and pillows are provided, but please bring your own bed linen and towels.
The house is centrally heated with an open fire in the living room.
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac there is plenty of room for parking 3 - 4 cars in the drive.
Location
Choose your activity! Five minutes walk to the beach, the Meare with its Peter Pan theme and boats for hire, golf club, tennis courts and local nature reserve. Walking, cycling, swimming, sailing and horse-riding close by.
The Dolphin pub serves delicious food in addition to local beers. The whole area is very well served with pubs, cafes and restaurants.
A perfect base for the Aldeburgh Music Festival, the famous bird reserve at Minsmere, Framlingham and Orford castles and the historic sites of Sutton Hoo and Dunwich.
