 The 300 year old Grade II listed cottage lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park, on the River Wye and is only two miles from the market town of Bakewell.
Accommodation As you enter through the small walled front garden, you walk into the lounge with beamed ceiling, part oak panel, original gritstone fireplace with Coalbrookdale cast iron stove (gas) and window seat which all add considerable charm and character to the cottage. Off the lounge is a small room, useful for storage. The kitchen dining area to the rear is fitted with all the essential equipment you will require. From the lounge the winding stairs lead to the first floor and the bathroom comprising bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. Off a small landing is the spacious and well fitted bedroom with double bed and colourful fabrics enhancing the room, along with the original bedroom fireplace. At the rear of the cottage is a yard with outbuildings. Services Duvets, linen and towels provided. Gas central heating and electricity included. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Colour TV, DVD, video and hifi. Sorry no pets or smokers. Parking nearby.
