 "Thistle Do" lies 2 miles south from the Scottish Border town of Coldstream, just off the A697 Edinburgh to Morpeth road. It is ideally situated for visitors to be able to explore the beautiful clean beaches of Northumberland and the scenic Scottish Borders. - Historic bustling market town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed with its famous Elizabethan town walls, shops, Theatre, Leisure facilities and museum is 11 miles.
- The Scottish market town of Kelso with Floors Castle is 12 miles.
- Alnwick with its famous Castle and gardens, 30 miles.
- The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The Farne Islands (Birdwatching, Seals, Puffins, Boat trips), Bamburgh Castle and wonderful beach, all within 40 mins drive.

The cottage has full double glazing with electric storage heaters in all rooms and an electric stove in lounge and dining room. Uninterrupted views of the Cheviot Hills from the large rear garden.
This "Home from Home" fully equipped cottage includes: - Lounge with TV, Video, good range of books, games and videos, OS maps of surrounding areas, with access out into rear enclosed garden with furniture.
 - Well-equipped separate dining room with views over garden to Cheviot hills.
- Kitchen with electric cooker, washing machine, Hi-Fi, fridge with freezer compartment, slow cooker, microwave.
- Bathroom with electric shower over bath.
