Pink Gate Cottage on sub tropical Valentia Island in South Kerry - scenically the most beautiful county in Ireland - is the perfect luxurious hide-away for honeymooners and couples looking for complete peace and quiet. The island is connected by road bridge to the picturesque fishing village of Portmagee. The cottage has open fires and oil fired central heating in winter and a summer garden shaded by fusia bushes and hydrangia hedges, the perfect place for barbecues or lounging in the hammock with a glass of wine watching the yachts in beautiful Dingle Bay.
This bright and spacious cottage combines original Victorian styling with the best of modern furniture and fittings to create a wonderful location from which to explore the island's many walks and scenic wonders such as the Pre-Historic Terapod Tracks or the subtropical gardens at Glanleam House, as well as boat trips to the Skellig rock or sea angling and scuba diving. The island is connected by road bridge to the picturesque fishing village of Portmagee with its restaurants and bars and ferry to the mainland at Cahirciveen.
 
 The accommodation consists of: Fully fitted kitchen with top of the range oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine etc.,as well as a solid fuel Waterford Stanley stove, antique table and chairs. Wooden floored sitting room with open fire, Sky TV, Bose radio/stereo system and modern high quality leather couches. Sunroom with sliding door to the garden, wicker furniture and exotic plants. The master bedroom has a Victorian style cast iron kingsize bed, dressed with luxurious bed linen. The ensuite has a Grohe powershower, wash hand basin and toilet. The main bathroom is located upstairs and has a free standing Victorian bath, wash hand basin and toilet. Please note:
