The Coach House was built approximately 100 years ago by the owners of the Whiting Bay Hotel. It was built to house the horse drawn carriage which was used to ferry guests to and from the steamers from Whiting Bay pier. The lounge and kitchen is now where the carriage was stored and the upstairs bedroom was where the coachman and his family lived. It has now been completely modernised, providing comfortable accommodation, off the main road, but only a few minutes walk from the village centre. It has sea views and a large colourful patio that is a real suntrap!
Accommodation The apartment is attached to the owners property, The Stables but privacy is ensured. Downstairs is the well equipped kitchen/lounge/dining-room and the bedroom is upstairs, with king size bed, en-suite shower room with toilet and wash-hand basin, there is also a separate room off the bedroom which houses a large bath. A large walled patio area filled with flowering and foliage tubs, this is for guests exclusive use, tables, garden chairs and loungers are provided. Off-road parking facilities. Heating, lighting, towels and bed linen are included. Babies and small children are most welcome if you can provide sleeping facilities ie travel cot. Pets are welcome but please let us know if there is a pet in your party. Heating and cooking by electricity. There is a focal point fire and storage heater in the living area, and a panel heater in the bedroom and hall, both living room and bedroom are heavily insulated. There is Freeview TV and a DVD player. The property offers Short Breaks, January to March and October to December (excluding Christmas and New Year).
