Built in the 1800s the Stables was converted in 1992 and stands in the yard of Ivy Cottage, with ample parking.  Fully equipped (you only need a toothbrush!) it sleeps five in three small bedrooms with charming old-fashioned beams and sloping ceilings. A cot is available. Downstairs is a large dining-cum-sitting room with French windows onto a patio and the garden. The kitchen has electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, water filter and fridge/freezer. A washing machine is available in Ivy Cottage. Netheravon is a village beside Salisbury Plain in the Avon valley about five miles from Stonehenge and twelve miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury. It is well situated for visits to Wilton House, Longleat, Bath, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth and the New Forest, as well as several National Trust properties and gardens open to the public. The village shop is open all hours and there are good stores in Amesbury and Salisbury.
