 A deceptively spacious converted stable situated in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. This is 'Monarch of the Glen' country and the majority of the filming was done on our doorstep. This is where they mean when they talk about getting away from it all - whether you just want to relax or have a more adventurous break the area has something for everyone - of all ages.
Accommodation The accommodation sleeps 4 + travel cot on request. 2 bedrooms - 1 king sized double and 1 twin. All linen and towels are provided. Lounge/dining room with colour TV, video and DVD/CD player. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, electric oven and microwave. Bathroom includes power shower and heated towel rail. The heating is electric and charged in addition via a £1 coin meter. A well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement. The Stable's garden is ideal for kids - fully fenced and full of nooks and crannies for them to explore, meaning you can relax on the patio, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ.
Local Area
There's a coffee shop and a great local pub within walking distance that serves excellent bar meals. The competitively priced local store will be only too happy to deliver your shopping and pop it in the fridge before you arrive (see our main site for details).
The Stable is a great base for a more active holiday with mountain biking, walking, riding, swimming, ski-ing, water sports, fishing, shooting, a Highland museum and much more all within a short distance. Alternatively you could just enjoy The Stable and the tranquillity of this beautiful part of the world.
