The Shieling is a lovely old wooden cottage circa 1910 with bags of character. It is located in the beautiful conservation village of Corrie which lies 6 miles north of Brodick along the coast road. ACCOMMODATION
The Cottage comprises 2 bedrooms; 1 double and 1 with bunk beds each with a full size single mattress.
The bathroom has a new bathtub and handheld shower.
The kitchen is well equipped.
The dining room which is wood panelled has special charm and provides a great meeting place for memorable family meals.
The lounge is a comfortable room with a wonderful spacious window seat where you can curl up, watch the world go by, drink in the panoramic sea views and just relax.
Outside, the cottage features a sheltered pretty garden with patio and barbecue area and from the window seat you can watch the daily antics of the red squirrels and birds who come to call each day. Please do remember to feed these special visitors (nuts provided!).
There is off road parking for 2 cars.
CORRIE
Corrie has a hotel/pub, and a new art gallery, 2 harbours which offer safe berthing for small craft, a sandy beach and play area.
One mile north, Sannox has a long sandy beach, a good bistro restaurant and the Corrie Golf Club 9 hole course boasting spectacular views and a tearoom.
The Shieling is close to all of these amenities and the bank and butcher vans also serve the village.
The main supermarket is in Brodick close to the ferry terminal.

Well behaved pets are welcome as long as we are advised at time of booking.
Please ensure that dogs do not foul the garden or surrounding areas.
