Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park nestles the small family estate of Easby Hall. Behind the Georgian Hall lies the coachhouse and stables built around 1855, now beautifully restored into luxury cottages. Both holiday cottages are ETC 4 star rating.

The Old Stables is a very secluded and tranquil setting from which to enjoy your holiday. The area is abound with history and natural beauty, an area where Captain James Cook grew up. A perfect setting for a varied holiday with numerous English Heritage, National Trust and privately owned properties and gardens to explore. To the East, Whitby and the coast is only half an hour drive away, together with the wild North Yorkshire Moors, Rosedale and Goathland. York, the market town of Helmsley and the magnificent Castle Howard to the South, Herriott country, Harrogate, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria to the West, with Durham and Northumberland to the North.

Accommodation

Eure Cottage - sleeps 4 (Friday to Friday)  
  • Downstairs:
    Large oak kitchen dining room, with separate downstairs cloakroom. Spacious living room with gas burning stove.
  • Upstairs:
    Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have antique furnishings, original beamed ceilings and pretty patchwork quilts.

Campion Cottage - sleeps 6 (Saturday to Saturday)  

  • Downstairs:
    Large open plan living/dining area with well equipped oak kitchen. Gas burning stove in living area. Downstairs cloakroom.
    The two bedrooms downstairs comprise of a double bedroom and twin bedroom both with en-suite bathrooms, antique furnishings and patchwork quilts.
  • Upstairs:
    A further twin bedroom with antique walnut beds and original beamed ceiling, has a separate bathroom with overhead shower.

Services for both cottages:  

  • Ample parking for cars.
  • Gas hobs, electric ovens, dishwashers, microwave, fridge (with larger freezer in Campion), TV, video, DVD player and Freeview.
  • All gas, electricity, bedlinen and towels are included in the tariffs.
  • Cots, with linen, and highchairs available.
  • Laundry facilities with coin operated large washing machine and separate drier.
  • Barbecues available.
  • Private patios with furniture which leads to large enclosed shared garden.
  • Sorry no pets.
