• Ideally situated for touring the north and south coasts of Cornwall and Devon.
• The traditional holiday of sandy beaches is not far away, and for the more active there is everything from sailing to cycling or walking the south west coastal path.
• There are the popular beaches of Looe, where there are also plenty of shops and restaurants, so makes an excellent destination for a day trip.
• Visit The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the famous Eden Project.
• Fishing: Fly fishing at Siblyback Lake (4 miles) or sea fishing, including shark fishing, at Looe.
• Bowling: Indoor and outdoor bowling at the nearby market town of Liskeard and outdoors at Looe.
• Swimming: Indoor pool complex at Lux Park Leisure Centre, Liskeard.
• Golf: St Mellions Golf Club is only 6 miles away.
• Sterts Open Air Theatre at Upton Cross.
