The property is a listed stone dwelling house of character. It is located in the Cairngorm National Park and has panoramic views. There is easy access to the Lecht Ski Centre, beaches of the Moray Firth and is within easy reach of the Spey Valley with its winter sports facilities, and excellent outdoor pursuits.
Glenlivet is well-known for the excellence of its whisky due to the purity of its water and the climate, which, although it can be crisp in winter, has a relatively low rainfall and high sunshine record. Easily accessible are the towns of Tomintoul, Grantown-on-Spey, and Elgin, all with shops, restaurants, and pubs. The accommodation is all on one level and should suit families, particularly older persons or children.

The House has a large open plan lounge and kitchen-diner, with multi-fuel burning stove, which heats the water and warms the radiators.
A full equipped kitchen / diner, including microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. There is a large dining table and breakfast bar.
2 bathrooms - a large family bathroom with bath, shower over bath, bidet, basin and toilet, one en-suite (twin room) with shower, toilet and basin.
There are three large bedrooms (one double, one twin and large single with extra (3 ft wide) fold-up bed.
There are no facilities for very small children/ babies, but the bedrooms are all large enough to accommodate cots etc, if desired. Guests would need to bring such items with them together with bedding for cot, high chair etc.
Towels and bedding are included in rental charge.
