Nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots, Wooler is a thriving small market town that retains a peaceful and tranquil air. Set in some of the most beautiful countryside that the region has to offer, Wooler is the ideal base for walking, exploring the magnificent Northumberland coast, or discovering the delightful towns and villages of the area.
 
The Old Mill is a detached three-storey house located on the edge of Wooler. Carefully converted, this property has plenty of charm and character and offers spacious, well equipped accommodation. Sleeping 8 people in comfort, it is an ideal place for two families or one larger family to enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday.  - There are four bedrooms - two doubles and two twins. Each double has its own en-suite bathroom, and the two twin bedrooms share a bathroom.
- All baths have superb power showers - ideal after a hard day's walking!
- There are two sitting rooms, one adjoining the large, open plan Kitchen/Dining room, and a wonderful, large room on the first floor.
- There are two colour TVs, a DVD player, VCR and two CD/radio/cassette players.
- The kitchen is very well equipped with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher.
- A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble drier.
- The large, sunny conservatory gives access outside to a lovely enclosed garden, with garden furniture and a gas barbecue.
All in all we have tried to make The Old Mill a lovely, spacious and comfortable place to stay, enabling you to have a truly relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of the world.
There are shops, banks, pubs and restaurants in Wooler and are less than five minutes walk away.
