Being on one level, the Hideaway sleeps two (double bed). The cosy sitting room has a television and comfortable seating, and a choice of books. A woodburning stove keeps the property warm and comfortable. The bathroom has a power shower, heater, shaver point and constant hot water. Electric heaters are available to warm the property on summer evenings. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridgefreezer, washing machine and a microwave. A tumble dryer is available next door if required. The property is now double glazed throughout. Everything is included in the price: Duvets, bed linen (not bath towels) electricity, constant hot water, logs, sole fishing rights during your stay. During cooler weather the wood stove will be alight to welcome you. At certain times of the year organically grown vegetables will be available free.
Adjoining The Hideaway are private grounds of 6 acres and large gardens, in the spring a picture with bulbs, daffodils and bluebells. There is also your own private garden with picnic table and deck chairs.

A pleasant ten minute walk will bring you to the village pub where meals and a carvery are available, and a shop selling papers and a wide variety of goods is about a mile away.
The property is 12 miles from many beaches and just over half an hours drive from Exmoor with its delightful walks and country pubs. Five miles away is Honiton - an interesting town with many antique shops, lace museum, pottery, golf course and swimming pool.
