We welcome you to The Front Dore which is a secluded semi-detached Victorian farmhouse, from where you can watch the animals graze in the summer and autumn and see the newborn lambs and calves in the spring on this quiet working farm. Situated virtually at the centre of the Golden Valley with Offa's Dyke long distance path nearby.
Situated along a private drive, just 200 yds from the quiet B4347, the property is backed by our own 30 acres of woodlands - a bird watcher's paradise (where our guests are welcome to walk), including a small orchard and fronted by the brook that forms the boundary of the parishes of Vowchurch and Abbeydore, with its well known Abbey.
The Front Dore is full of character with stripped pine decor, and has a private entrance through mature enclosed garden with lawns, shrubs and flowerbeds, with plenty of room for you to relax and the children to play.

Abergavenny is 18 miles away, where there is a large open market held every Tuesday. Many local inns and restaurants for eating out, and pleasant drives with unsurpassed views in the nearby Olchon Valley and via Llanthony, Capel-yr-Finn and the Gospel Pass.
Only 11 miles from Hay-on-Wye (the second hand bookshop town) also well known for its Literature Festival in May. Within 2 miles of Turnastone Court Farm, Vowchurch, owned by the Countryside Restoration Trust.
Just 3 miles from Dore Abbey and the Well known Abbeydore Court Gardens.
Pony trekking, canaoeing centres and golf courses are all within a few miles.
