This beautiful detached single storey stone cottage, formerly The Forge for the farm, is situated in a magnificent rural setting and dates from the early 19th century. Offering a blend of traditional features and furnishings to a very high standard including exposed beams, inglenook fireplace and oak flooring. It also boasts south-facing gardens with spectacular uninterrupted views over moorlands and open countryside.

There is sole use of an outdoor heated swimming pool (May to Sept) and the cottage lies in a superb area for hiking, cycling and touring.
Ingram Valley 6 miles - for walking and river swimming.
Coastline 20 mins.
Alnwick 15 mins for shops and the wonderful castle and gardens.
1 mile from the village with excellent restaurant and pub.
