This ideal retreat with its abundance of wildlife including the kingfisher and the otter and over 50 different variety of birds makes it a dream location to just relax or maybe paint and read. Sit on the decking or the river bank and watch the river flow and the fish jump, enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of cocoa and watch the sunset, either way this will be a memorable experience.

• The accommodation is modern and new with the addition of a log burning stove for those chilly evenings.
• This one large bedroom cabin, separate bathroom with bath and shower, lounge/kitchen/diner with flat screen TV, DVD, CD, microwave and cooker and additional bed/settee is stylishly furnished with views of the river and the valley beyond. Also washing machine and off road parking.

Location  

• Situated just outside the market town of Hatherleigh, with its Tuesday market, in the heart of Devon, and Dartmoor only a short distance away, makes it an ideal touring destination for Devon and North and East Cornwall.
• The Tarka and Ruby Trails and the Granite Way offer some of the best cycling and walking routes for the more energetic guests.
• There are many good Inns within easy reach for evening dining should you not wish to cook and the local supermarket is open until 10.00pm.

We offer 3, 4 and 7 day breaks with an additional discount for a second week. Suitable for children over 12 years but sorry no pets although we do have a dog of our own Wallace the westie.
