A luxury self catering, lovingly restored, Mediaeval cruck frame barn.

Situated in a 'hideaway hamlet' in the Peak District, this charming and unusual accommodation offers oak beams and antiques and agricultural relics of yesteryear alongside quality contemporary furnishings and original artwork. We provide everything for your comfort and convenience to make your stay a memorable one.

The Cruck Barnis situated in an idyllic rural location, with a footpath network from the gate, off the beaten track yet only a few miles from the market town of Matlock and Chatsworth House.

It offers stylish modern furnishings and fittings harmonizing with the romantic remains of a Mediaeval home.
It features a spectacular large balcony with panoramic views over 5 counties of middle England from which you can spot Hardwick Hall and South Wingfield Manor amongst other landmarks.
The accommodation comprises: spacious kitchen/diner and morning sitting room with woodburning stove, a light and airy sitting room and sleeping area with contemporary furniture and double bed with posture sprung mattress, french-doors leading onto the balcony and spacious shower room with large walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
A small private garden area with high old walls and rock formation offers a natural suntrap.
Secure parking for one car.
