• The private outlook from the main first-floor bedroom is a rural idyll: across meadows with horses, and often deer, herons and egrets.
• It has its own pretty little garden, with direct footpath access over the little river Piddle to the unspoilt heart of the old village, just moments away.
• There is plenty of secluded parking, including a carport.

This is an excellent location for easy access to all Dorset, and beyond.  Poole/Bournemouth, Purbeck, the Jurassic Coast, Weymouth, Portland and Bridport are all within easy reach. Set within wonderful walking and riding country, near the celebrated Athelhampton House, Monkey World and numerous other famous Dorset attractions, the Cottage is quietly yet conveniently located. It's a great choice for those who wish to stay a while and explore Dorset with the freedom of self-catering.

The village has a well-stocked general store with long opening hours. Ten minutes away by car on the outskirts of Dorchester is a large (award-winning!) Tesco, open 24 hours.
