• Horse riding, climbing and other outdoor pursuits, sailing, golf courses and fishing etc., are all within a short distance.
• The Cottage is approximately 6 miles from the famous spa town of Tunbridge Wells, whilst Glyndebourne Opera House and the historic town of Lewes (famous for its bonfire celebrations on November 5th) are about a 30 minute drive. It is also convenient for Sheffield Park, Wakehurst Place, Bluebell Railway, Pooh Corner and the South of England showground at Ardingly, to name but a few.

• Trains run from Jarvis Brook Station, 5 minutes down the road, with a frequent service to London.
