 The Cottage is a magical place to totally relax, it is truly our second home. The views of sea, hills, fields, cliffs, ponds and in clear weather, the island of Lundy, are magnificent. The sun streams in and in winter the huge log burner in the inglenook fireplace is lit ready for your arrival. In the inglenook's many nooks and crannies are nightlights ready to be lit by you. There is a 4 poster and just outside one of the three French windows is a big hot tub ready for champagne and stargazing... and where we are, there is little light pollution so the stars are BRIGHT... - Crackington Haven is an area of outstanding natural beauty away from the madding crowds with a very dramatic coastline, most of which is owned by The National Trust. There are feral ponies, goats, badgers and seals.
 - Tintagel, the alleged castle of King Arthur, and Boscastle are close by.
Accommodation Amazingly The Cottage is just as cosy for two as it is for more and it is wonderful just to potter around browsing amongst the books and magazines and play the many board games; additionally for your entertainment is our nautical games room with a full size bar-billiards table, table football, magnetic darts and Sky TV, bring your playstation! The full Sky package is installed with full sports and films along with a sky plus box so you don't miss anything whilst you communing with the stupendous surf... There is a broadband connection with wireless router also a further TV, DVD and video in the sitting room plus aeriel connection so guests can be watching different things in different rooms and many of the bedrooms have Sky connections. As well as the larder fridge in the kitchen there are 2 more fridges and a freezer in the storeroom. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite facilities plus seaviews. There is an additional bathroom downstairs with a further 3 bedrooms plus a bed settee in the games room. Each of the 3 bathrooms have heated towel rails. Can sleep 14 including 2 babies in cots: 5 bedrooms (3 bathrooms, 2 ensuite), plus separate games room which can be used as bedroom with bed settee. Sleeps 4 in 2 double bedded rooms with ensuite, Two in king size 4 poster bed. Two children in bunks in childrens room. One or two in four foot bed. Two babies in cots in their parents room. Two on sofa bed in games room. Has 5 bedrooms two of which are ensuite plus a family bathroom. NB The games room can be used as a separate bedroom as we have a separate sitting room. The floors are either slate with underfloor heating or stripped pine with rugs. Nestled round the inglenook are three large, comfy, white settees. There is a circular stripped pine dining table which can be extended for bigger parties. Outside we have a large garden wrapping round most of the house with an all-weather table-tennis table with access to a small paddock which is ideal for footie, volleyball etc. All of our grounds are secure and safe for children and dogs. We co-own a further one and a half acres which has a large pond, orchard, small wood, 'secret' avenue of trees and a hard surface TENNIS COURT; all for you to use. LARGE 6 seater HOT TUB/JACUZZI. Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher. Full Sky. Internet / Broadband connection. Sky plus. Additional information - Our housekeeper is a professional cook, for an additional charge she will cook a meal/s for you and even leave something in the oven for your arrival. Again for an additional charge she will do your shopping for you and put it away.
- All beds will be made up ready for you (all double beds have electric blankets).
- The price includes the cleaning at the end of your stay so it's a REAL holiday.
- For every adult a towelling dressing gown is provided and all towels with the exception of beach towels.
