Visitor Comments:
  • Perfect cottage - beautifully decorated and furnished and equipped with all we could need - and more! Lovely location - quiet and peaceful for the two dogs, but central for exploring. Helen and Fiona, Leicester  (+ Reg and Bert  Pug).
  • This was our second time at Curlew Cottage - again wonderful and relaxing.  We cooked here almost every night - fish and crabs from Gourdon and Johnshaven. Also visited the hide at the Nature Reserve in Montrose Basin. Annette and Scott, London.
  • Curlew Cottage is lovely - nice walks in the area to see the seals at Johnshaven, Gourdon and Catterline. Enjoyed my afternoon's fishing off Johnshaven Harbour and for my efforts caught two tiny cod and a 2lb Pollock. Stanley the dog also enjoyed his stay, but thinks we have gone walking mad! Thanks to Lindsey and Chris for the use of their lovely, well equipped cottage - they really do seem to have thought of everything. We will certainly be back. Helen, Terry and Stanley. Newburgh.
