 Brun Farm Cottages are two tastefully converted barns on a working sheep farm. The farm is situated to the south of the village of Kirk Langley, just a five minute drive from the City of Derby, yet the setting is truly rural and peaceful, with delightful views towards the National Trust's Kedleston Estate.
Both cottages are non-smoking and pet free and both are classified by the English Tourist Board as 4 star. The owners place great emphasis on high standards of housekeeping, a point regularly commented on by both guests and Tourist Board Inspectors.
The Cart Hovel The cottage offers spacious single storey accommodation, extensively equipped and beautifully furnished to a high standard, overlooking lawns and an orchard. The cosy beamed sitting room leads through to the light and airy kitchen/diner, fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, and microwave oven. The twin and double bedrooms are both of generous size and each has its own bathroom. The cottage is particularly well suited to two couples sharing as the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the property to ensure maximum privacy. General Facilities The cottages are centrally heated throughout, and all fuel bills, hire of towels and bed linen are included in the tariff. Good access for those with restricted mobility. Ample parking space. Use of large gardens for games and relaxing.
