The Breakaway is a very comfortable, attractive ground floor apartment situated in a select new development overlooking the award winning beaches in South Shields. The apartment is tastefully furnished to a very high standard in a light, airy contemporary style. It is within 250 yards of the sea front and two minutes walk from the end of the Great North Run for those who make it to the end! South Shields has undergone a massive regeneration programme in recent years and the excellent facilities in the area cater for all ages. Superb sandy beaches, 5 excellent parks, great cycle and walking pathways and numerous restaurants to suit all tastes are a short stroll away. - It is an ideal base to explore the stunning coastline but is also very well placed for visiting Newcastle which is a city of outstanding cultural and historical interest.

- The apartment is a perfect base for exploring the region's tourist attractions, theatres, cinemas, sports stadiums, castles and retail therapy. Newcastle city centre is 20 minutes away on the Metro.
- The coastline of Northumberland is well known for its sandy beaches and superb scenery along with its picturesque villages overlooked by magnificent castles are a short drive away.
