 Tavern Cottage is a stone built cottage with a multi fuel stove in the living room ideal for summer or winter breaks. It has a twin bedded double bedroom, a showerbath in the bathroom and full amenities in the kitchen. The cottage is tastefully decorated to a high standard.
Location - The cottage is situated in the centre of the small quiet village of Newsham overlooking the village green midway between Richmond and Barnard Castle.
- The village is an ancient settlement which pre-dates the Domesday Book and has plenty of lovely walks and places of historic interest to visit at nearby Richmond and Barnard Castle.
- For those who like fishing there are the River Tees and Swale.
 - Some quaint characteristic inns and eating houses in the surrounding villages are a must for their warm and relaxing atmosphere.
- Newsham is 8 miles from the A1 on the A66 making a trip to The Lakes easily accessible or if you want to visit the East Coast it is only 1 hour away.
