Our two local stone and cedar wood cottages are both on our Farm and are in excellent decorative order and up to date. Both have log burning stoves and we provide as many logs as you need free of charge. The views over the Tarn and up to the Lake District fells are spectacular and no matter what time of year you stay at Tarnside it is always beautiful.

• Both cottages have a double and a twin room. The double is upstairs and the twin is on the groundfloor.
• The bathroom is on the groundfloor and has a shower over the bath.
• Linen and towels are provided free of charge.
• Both cottages have TV with freeview, CD player and Radio.
• Log Burning Fires in both cottages, logs and firelighters are supplied.
• The kitchen is well fitted out with a Dishwasher, Fridge, Microwave and Cooker with hob, electric steamer and Sandwich Maker.
• There is a deepfreeze in the utility shed for visitors use.
• All visitors will find a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolates on their arrival.
• Electicity is included in the price.
• The cottages have a superb view over the Tarn and wild birds feed from the birdtables in front of the patio windows. There are lots of different birds aroud the Tarn and the Woodpecker comes regularly!

Location  

• We have 180 acres of land around the farm and we keep breeding sheep and also train Race Horses.
• We have free range hens and eggs can be purchased.
• The cottages are open all year and we allow short breaks from October to April, cost £150 for any two nights.
• The Tarn is very peaceful and relaxing place to walk around and is only 5 mins from the cottages.

If you are arriving late we light the fire and pop a bottle of wine in the fridge, you can relax immediately!!
