Set amongst green pastures at the heart of the village of Clachtoll, Taigh an Àilean is a former croft house built in 2007. It lies five minutes walk from the sandy beaches of Clachtoll and Stoer bays, and the Iron Age broch of An Dun.
The cottage has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, bathroom with bath and separate shower and an open plan lounge/kitchen with 'Firebelly' log burning stove, comfy leather sofa and armchairs, and dining table and chairs. French windows open on to a south facing terrace.

Location Clachtoll lies on the coast 6 miles north of the fishing port of Lochinver along a one track road with spectacular views of the mountains of Assynt and Coigach. Usually reached via Ullapool (just under an hour's drive) and Inverness (2 hours) it is a superb centre for walking, mountaineering, fishing, dining, geology, wildlife and bird watching.
