Swn y Gwynt (Sound of the Wind). A spacious, elegant cottage for four - including up to two with severe disability. Our accessibility grade 1 makes us rare locally. We are proud of our achievement.
The cottage has: Two twin bedrooms, with bathrooms, one on the ground, the other on the first floor. Designed for access for wheelchairs on the entire ground floor. A large living/dining/kitchen area. Fabulous views across the Towy valley, terrace and garden. Car parking level with the entrance. Prices include heating, linen, towels, colour television, washing machine, freezer. Shorter lets than one week possible. We are surrounded by farmland. Dogs welcome, but must not worry local sheep. Sorry no cats. We prefer visitors not to smoke indoors.
There are many birds at Swn y Gwynt, with twenty species always seen. In summer the Pipistrelle bat adds to these. The Llanelli sanctuary of the WWT is half an hour away.
The National Botanic Garden of Wales, the first in Europe for over 150 years, and the largest in the UK, is ten minutes away, and one of Wales' great attractions.
Carmarthen is a thriving town, with an excellent market. This is a good base to explore all West Wales. Excellent beaches are 40 minutes away.
