 Ambleside is set amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain. It provides easy access to the fells and the Lakes. Walking, rock climbing, riding, swimming, tennis bowls and sailing are a few of the activities available nearby. - No 3 Swiss Villas is a lovely Victorian terraced house in central Ambleside, off the main road. It is convenient for shops, cinemas, restaurants, parks and only a 10minute walk from Lake Windermere.
- The house is newly refurbished with full central heating and an open fire.
- It is in a slightly elevated position with good views across the town to Wansfell.
Accommodation is on three floors: The lounge has comfortable seating for 6, a colour TV,a DVD player, a Video player and a CD player, as well as an open fire. The dining room has seating for 6 also. There are 2 double bedded rooms on the first floor along with the bathroom and on the second floor is a twin bedded double room. There is a small rear yard with a garden seat, space for cycles and an additional outside toilet. Private parking permits are supplied for outside parking for 2 cars, for the duration of your stay. The kitchen is equipped with fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave, gas hob, fan oven and extractor. All essential cooking utensils and crockery are supplied. The bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and all bedding is supplied. Towels are not normally provided but can be supplied by arrangement. All beds are made up ready for your arrival. The double bedrooms both have colour T.V. Cots are not provided. The fully fitted bathroom has a hand basin, WC, and over-bath shower. 
The house is normally let on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter breaks (minimum 3 nights) are available in the Winter months.
Main fuel costs are included in the charges.
The proprietors live next door at 2 Swiss Villas so are available to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
