Swinhope is superbly located in the Northumbrian countryside, with stunning views down the valley towards Edlingham Castle and over to Thrunton Woods and the Cheviot Hills. It is an excellent base for those seeking a tranquil setting from which to explore the many attractions Northumberland and the surrounding area has to offer.
 
 The Cottage is a newly renovated barn, in a converted farm steading, which retains the character of the old stone built building, while being fully modernised to the highest of standards. - There is a large garden with lawn and seating areas from which to enjoy the views, and is excellent for walking and cycling.
- Alnwick is a five minute drive away, with the Alnwick Garden and Castle as a must-see during your visit.
- A ten minute drive to fantastic beaches and many other Castles and historic sites the area has to offer.
The Accommodation comprises: - Large, cosy lounge area with gas living flame stove, large flat screen TV with freeview and dvd player. Great views from the floor to ceiling windows. Double sofa bed.
- The floors are natural slate, with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs.
- Kitchen/dining area (seats 6), with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine with tumble drier, double oven and microwave.
- Downstairs bathroom with shower.
- Upstairs - one double and one twin bedroom with wardrobe space.
