Swanston Steading Cottages are a mixture of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages converted from traditional stone and slate farm buildings. They are situated at the heart of Swanston Village that is on the edge of Edinburgh City but located on the lower slopes of the Pentland Hills.

Edinburgh City centre is only 15 minutes away by car, a 20 to 30 minute bus ride depending on the time of day.

The cottages are situated at the centre of the 700 acres that forms Swanston Farm, which is also part of the Pentland Regional Park (created for recreational and conservation reasons). There are crops and livestock on the farm, also a horse livery yard. The cottages have a private courtyard and are separate from the rest of the farm.

Two eighteen-hole golf courses are within yards of the cottages; tee times can be booked on request. Swanston Golf Clubhouse is 50 metres from the cottages and is also open to non-golfers for food and drink.

Facilities:

Each of the holiday cottages has a flat screen TV with freeview and built in DVD player, and WiFi access available at no extra charge.
All linen and towels are provided.
