 Swallows End is a comfortable 'home from home' First floor apartment, part of an 18th Century barn conversion situated in a peaceful enclave in the midst of the idyllic Arnside /Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty AONB. Being close to Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve and within easy reach of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales make it an ideal choice for birdwatchers, nature lovers, walkers, cyclist and tourists.

The apartment is accessed from the main entrance via a staircase with a hand rail to the first floor. The apartment comprises the following:

  • Silverdale village has excellent amenities. There is a post office, chemist, butchers, library, Co-op store, 2 pubs, Indian restaurant, RSPB reserve, 18 hole golf course, swimming pool and gym.
  • The village is situated on the edge of Morecambe Bay in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, managed by the National Trust and Landscape Trust.
  • For those wanting a peaceful holiday it is the place to be, with its myriad of paths, woodlands and meadows making it a haven for exquisite wildflowers (eg lady slipper orchid), wildlife (red, roe and fallow deer) also rare butterflies (brown fritillary) and birds (the Bittern, avocets and otters at the reserve).
  • Silverdale is just 15mins from Junc 35 of the M6 and main A6 road.
  • Also the railway station gives easy access to Lancaster & West Coast mainline.
