SWALLOWBRAE COTTAGES - in the Shiskine valley on the picturesque Isle of Arran (known as 'Scotland in miniature' because it has examples of all the different types of scenery found across Scotland).

SWALLOWBRAE COTTAGE (2 photos above) is situated approximately one mile inland from the village of Blackwaterfoot and enjoys spectacular views of the hills in the north of the island.

The property is on a working farm and has been converted to a high standard from an original stone barn.
The cottage has one bedroom, living room (with beamed ceiling, feature fireplace and wood burning stove), kitchen and bathroom downstairs and a second bedroom upstairs.
It has its own parking area and a secluded garden.

BRAESIDE (2 photos above) is situated about half a mile from Blackwaterfoot. It is a traditional island cottage renovated to a high standard while keeping its character.

The cottage has panoramic views across to the Mull of Kintyre on one side and of the hills in the north on the other.
The accommodation is on one level: living room, two bedrooms (one with children's bunk beds), kitchen and bathroom.
Being about 50 yards from the road and down a slope, the cottage is not suitable for the disabled.
It is very secluded with a large, private garden.

All bed linen is provided as are the usual kitchen and bathroom items however, towels are not provided.
