A picture-postcard, rose-covered 17th Century thatched cottage set amongst other thatched cottages in a quiet lane in Malborough, SUNNY THATCH is ideal for both beach and country-lovers, being only approximately two miles from sandy beaches and surrounded by National Trust land for walking.
 
The village of Malborough occupies a superb position between the market town of Kingsbridge and the sailing centre of Salcombe, and offers a choice of two pubs, a bistro, a well stocked Co-op shop/garage and Post Office and gift shop. Surrounded on three sides by the beautiful coastline of the South Hams, Malborough is only 40 minutes from Plymouth, Dartmouth and the natural beauty of Dartmoor. Also close by are swimming pools, leisure centres, animal farms, steam railways, horse riding and Golf Clubs. The near-by beaches of Thurlestone (see photograph above) and Bantham are ideal for swimming, surfing and wind-surfing.

Downstairs:  Spacious well-furnished sitting room with TV and DVD Player, coal effect electric stove and country views towards Bolt Head. Telephone (incoming calls, emergency and answer-phone only). Glazed stable-door leading out to gardens via a small courtyard. Large kitchen/dining room - Kitchen well equipped with double oven/grill, halogen hob and microwave. The fridge-freezer is situated in the lobby area. Dining room with table, six chairs, high chair, original window seat and beams. Bathroom - bath, shower, washbasin and shaver point; also houses washing machine. Separate w.c. and washbasin. Upstairs: - Double bedroom with views towards Bolt Head.
