Sunnyside is a romantic old stone cottage in the small village of Box, at the edge of Minchinhampton Common and overlooking the Nailsworth valley, which offers a rural retreat almost at the heart of the Five Valleys.
 
Accommodation Downstairs accommodation consists of a dining room, sitting room and kitchen, with utility room. This immaculate cottage is traditionaly furnished but has all modern comforts. Upstairs there is a bathroom, one double bedroom and one single. There is off-road parking for two small cars. Price includes electricity, gas, bed linen and towels. The Halfway House Inn, with real ales and good food is just three minutes walk. The Old Lodge Inn, renowned for its food, is a 10 minute ramble over the common. The village of Minchinhampton is about one mile away, as is the small town of Nailsworth. Stroud, the main town, is four miles away with an excellent farmers' market on Saturdays as well as usual shops and supermarkets.
The cottage is available all year round, including winter weekends and short breaks. - 40 minutes from the M4 (Junction 15), 20 minutes from the M5 (Junction 13), four miles from Stroud mainline station (direct service from London Paddington).
Just three minutes from Michinhampton common, a network of public footpaths provides walkers with easy access to the surrounding commons, valleys and countryside. - Other local towns and villages include Stroud, Nailsworth, Minchinhampton and Painswick.
