Stronend Cottage enjoys an exceptional situation in spectacular hill country on the south east margin of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park in Central Scotland. This traditional farm cottage has been recently built to a high standard of comfort in a private and tranquil setting. This is an ideal centre for the family tourist, walker, the explorer and the nature lover. It is equally suited to the energetic or for those who just want to chill out.

The mountains to the north mark the start of the Highland Line and are a dramatic contrast to the valley below - the Carse of Stirling. To the south are the Fintry Hills with sweeping views across to the Campsie Fells and beyond.
The area is steeped in history and legendary figures such as William Wallace and Rob Roy MacGregor have left their mark.
The only lake in Scotland (the Lake of Menteith) is only 15 minutes away by car. Visit Scotland's African Safari Park - nearby in Blairdrummond.
Experience Stirling with its castle, monuments and shops, or visit the engineering marvel of the Falkirk Wheel.
Further afield Edinburgh, Glasgow and the West Coast are easily accessible.

The accommodation includes:

A large master bedroom with a double bed plus two twin bedrooms (one of which is on the ground floor).
A large open plan dining/lounge area situated at the west end of the cottage with superb panoramic views of the surrounding hills and spectacular sunsets.
A WC and shower on the ground floor, and upstairs bathroom with a full-size bath.
A spacious open-plan kitchen, equipped with a ceramic hob, matching oven, fridge/freezer, microwave oven plus a dishwasher and an automatic washing machine.
All the lighting, entertainment, cooking and washing appliances are powered by electricity, and the cottage is designed to be very eco friendly.
Electricity costs are included in the rental.

Stronend Cottage is available to rent all year.
The minimum stay is 7 nights with the change over day usually on a Saturday.
Departure by 10.00 hrs, arrival after 16.00 hrs.
Special rates apply for Christmas, New Year and Easter bookings - please enquire for pricing and availability.
