Daily newspapers are available in the village and there are a variety of local shops a short drive away.
There are many friendly pubs and eating places offering excellent meals in the area.
Four superb Golf courses are within a 20 minute drive of Stroma.
Travel a few miles North to the lively Spa town of Scarborough. Further ahead is the coastal town of Whitby famous for its Fish and Chips, not too far away is "Heartbeat Country".
To the South of Stroma lies the busy fishing port of Bridlington, where you can stroll along their lovely promenades. It is only a short ride away to the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs.
