Strawberry Cottage is a small but delightful traditional Cotswold stone cottage tucked away up a quiet no through lane in Guiting Power in the heart of the Cotswolds - rated in 2008 by the Sunday Times as one of the top 20 most sought after villages in England and Wales. The cottage faces south and overlooks an open field. Guiting Power is a lovely location, which is ideal for a romantic break at any time of the year - Warm and cosy in the depths of winter, and simply wonderful in the summer.
  • The cottage is a short stroll from two excellent village pubs (the Farmers Arms and the Hollow Bottom) the village Post Office, and Watsons bakery and grocers.
  • Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway are all within about 15 minutes drive by car.
  • There are many local attractions including Broadway Tower, Snowshill Lavender, Snowshill Manor, Sudeley Castle at Winchcombe, the Cotswold Farm Park, and Naunton Downs golf course, which are all within 10 to 15 minutes drive.
  • Strawberry cottage is also a good base from which to explore further afield - perhaps a visit to Stratford on Avon and Shakespeare country, or Cheltenham for shopping and the races.
  • Locally there are many walks for you to enjoy in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
