LOCH VIEW CABINS (sleep 6 - 8 people): Visit Scotland: 3 Star. Our Loch View Cabins provide self catering accommodation for six to eight people. Cabins are constructed to a very high standard with a wealth of character and charm to provide a true log cabin experience. Cabins are situated in an elevated position with stunning views over open meadows, beautiful Loch Awe and the hills beyond. The accommodation consists of:
Open plan lounge / dining area, which has a high vaulted ceiling, satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), sofa bed, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Loch elevation is mainly glazed, to maximise the stunning view, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area.
WiFi in Loch View Cabins, Blaeberry Cabin and selected Woodland Cabins (£20 pw, or £10 per short break).
Well equipped open plan kitchen, with cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Shower room with electric shower, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.
Bedroom 1, which is a first floor mezzanine room with views over the loch. It has double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.
Bedroom 2, which has twin beds, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet.
Bedroom 3, which has two bunk beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, including picnic table a BBQ area and grassed area. The cabins provide privacy and are bordered by a large open meadow on which children can play safely, while watched over from the living area.
The cabins are timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. They provide a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in a quiet forest location.
STRAE AND SLOY CABINS (sleep 4 - 5 people): Strae cabin is set in a secluded woodland glade over looking a babbling burn and no more than 100 yards from the shore of beautiful Loch Awe. This charming cabin is well away from the quiet loch side road, is a comfortable distance from other cabins and is not overlooked. Sloy cabin is in an elevated position overlooking beautiful Loch Awe. The cabin sits on extensive, secluded grounds on the loch shore and provides the perfect location to be at one with nature in a truly stunning setting. Accommodation comprises:
Open plan lounge / dining area / kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x triple bunk beds) and shower room.

The established woodland in which the cabins sit is habitat to an abundance of wildlife, including Pine Marten (can be seen on verandas), Red Squirrel, deer and, many bird species and is carpeted with bluebells in the spring.

Dalavich Forest Park is a unique location created by the forestry commission as a place of tranquillity, amid outstanding scenery.
In addition to the peace and quiet of the cabin location the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground with forests, burns, rivers, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy.
The area abounds with wildlife, with red squirrels and pine martins being regular visitors to The Cabin.
The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions and is a well know destination for anglers.
The village of Dalavich has a bar / restaurant, village shop / post office / cafe and boat hire facility.
