The Old Stables lies in the heart of the village of Stoke Fleming - a pretty coastal village with a Blue Flag beach. It is attached to the owners' house and is approached down a wooded private drive.

The cottage offers self catering for 4.
The entrance leads into a modern fully fitted kitchen with dining area.
Up 2 steps to the bedrooms - one with king size bed and one with 2 x 2'6" beds; a newly refurbished modern shower room with powerful shower, toilet and basin.
A timber staircase leads from the kitchen to a delightful little sitting room with comfy seating, TV/DVD player and Sky TV, and views out across the woodland garden.

Location

The village has a church, post office/shop with a good selection of fresh local produce; a "child and dog friendly" pub with an excellent menu; a fish restaurant serving locally caught fish and lobsters (Summer season only).
The beach, Blackpool Sands, is just 0.75 miles away and can be accessed either on foot via the coastal path or by car (chargeable car park) and has a wonderful cafe serving freshly cooked organic food.
Dartmouth, on the picturesque River Dart, is just 3 miles away and is the home of the "Sea Horse" run by celebrity chef Mitch Tonks, plus a number of other excellent restaurants serving locally sourced food.
It is the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful scenery of Dartmoor, the countryside of the South Hams, visit market towns such as Totnes and Kingsbridge or take a boat trip to Agatha Christie's family home, Greenways.
It is also a good base to visit The Eden project, about a 1.5 hour drive away (depending on traffic!). And for the children Woodlands Adventure Park is just 10 minutes drive and gives all year round all weather fun.
